Botanical Name: Verbena officinalis

Vervain can be taken as a tea for anxiety, irritability and mild depression.

It is also taken to to increase lactation, or to support a fever.

To make a tea of vervain, use 3-6g dried vervain to a cup of boiling water, infuse for 5-10 mins. Take up to 3 times a day.

Vervain combines well with Skullcap, Betony and St Johns Wort for tension and anxiety.
