Botanical Name: Silybum marianum

Also known as Milk thistle, St Mary's thistle is used to protect and regenerate the liver. Use internally for the treatment of jaundice, hepatitis, liver damage, cirrhosis and poisoning (from alcohol, drugs, chemicals and the toxic death cap mushroom). Commonly encapsulated as a herbal supplementation or taken as a herbal thistle tea.

St Mary's Thistle also minimises the side-effects of cancer chemotherapy, and increases breast milk production.
