Botanical Name: Aesculus hippocastanum

Horse chestnut is taken internally for disorders of the circulatory system such as venous insufficiency, varicose veins, haemorrhoids, arteriosclerosis, stroke, heart attack and to reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis.

Horse Chestnut is also useful for the treatment of restless leg syndrome, leg cramps and bruising.

Warning: It cannot be eaten as a nut, also a known allergy.
