Hawthorn Berry is used for heart disease and circulatory disorders, such as high and low blood pressure (it has a normalizing effect), angina, coronary artery disease, and reducing degeneration of the blood vessels. Long-term use is recommended.

One unique characteristic of Hawthorn Berries is their tendency to develop white spots or a white film on the outer skin. This is a natural occurrence caused by the crystallisation of sugars in the berries, and should not be mistaken for mould.

Steeped in hot water, you can make your own Hawthorn Berry tea.
