Elecampane root can be candied or made into a cordial.

Elecampane is best used as an expectorant for the treatment of coughs, bronchial catarrh, hay fever, asthma, and pleurisy.

It is a tonic herb for the digestion, stimulates the appetite and relieves dyspepsia.
