Crampbark is used to relieve muscle spasm associated with painful menstruation, irritable bowel, colic and migraine.

Crambark is also used to lower blood pressure, relieve colic, irritable bowel, prostatitis and urinary spasm. In the nervous system it has a sedative effect and is useful for tension headaches and migraine.

2-4g made into a decoction can be taken up to 3 times a day.
