Comfrey root and or leaf is used externally to promote healing of bruises, broken bones, sprains, fractures, and scarring.
Comfrey contains allantoin and rosmarinic acid, which are associated with tissue repair and anti-inflammatory action

Made from grounded comfrey root.

Actions

Demulcent, anti-inflammatory, astringent, vulnerary.

External use only.

 How to make a Comfrey Poultice

  • Comfrey root powder
  • Water to moisten

Add 1-2 tablespoons of powdered comfrey root ato a bowl. 
Add in enough water to make a stiff mix.
Spread on affected area and cover with a bandage.

Contraindications

Not to be taken internally due to the pyrrolizidine alkaloids.
