Black Cohosh is used to treat hot fushes, mood swings and other menopausal symptoms. It is also useful for inflammatory arthritis and rheumatic problems.

Black cohosh has an oestrogenic action and can be used for menstrual problems that are related to a high progesterone production.

Contraindications

Avoid in Hormone dependent cancer. Has been associated with liver problems.
