Betony can be taken as a tea for tension headaches, anxiety, neuralgia and dizziness.

To make a tea of betony use 2g to a cup of boiling water and take up to 3 times a day.

Betony combines well with Skullcap, Vervain and St Johns Wort for tension and anxiety.

The dried herb is also used in herbal tobacco and snuff.
