Below are some ideas on how to use essential oils for cleaning without all the nasty chemicals:

• Use one or two drops of orange essential oil to lift glue and grease from surfaces.
• For an 'All Purpose' cleaner add 30 drops of orange essential oil to 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. Shake well. Great for cleaning bench tops and cutting boards.
• For mould on hard surfaces use 20 drops of clove oil in a litre of water mix in a spray bottle. Spray the surface, leave for 20 minutes, wipe clean then repeat. Leave overnight and scrub the next day.
• Add 5 drops of Eucalyptus to the final rinse in your washing machine for fresh clean clothes and linen.
• Add 20 drops of Eucalyptus to a mop bucket of warm water.
• Use 3-5 drops of Eucalyptus in a diffuser to freshen a smelly room.
